Service of an affidavit in related proceedings that discloses the source of a breach of confidence is sufficient to bring home to the plaintiff knowledge of the existence of causes of action and the identity of the persons against whom they lie, thereby ending any period of fraudulent concealment for the purposes of s 55 of the Limitation Act (NSW). The six-year limitation period under s 14 of the Limitation Act applies by analogy to equitable claims for breach of confidence pursuant to s 23.
