A railway authority that has erected a boundary fence and maintains a system of regular inspection and repair has discharged its duty of care to trespassers who access railway lines through holes in the fence, particularly where the risk of being struck by a train is blindingly obvious. A landowner does not owe a duty to protect persons who trespass onto the landowner's land in order to trespass on a third party's land.
