Where the Crown case on multiple counts depends entirely on the uncorroborated evidence of a single complainant, and surrounding details relied upon by the complainant to fix incidents in time are demonstrated to be false, convictions on some counts may be set aside as inconsistent with acquittals on other counts and as unsafe and unsatisfactory.
