A strata company under the Strata Titles Act 1985 (WA) has power to enter into a hotel management agreement where each lot proprietor has individually authorised the arrangement, as this constitutes the provision of 'amenities or services' under s 37(1)(g). The expression 'bodies corporate generally' in s 32(3)(d) is not to be read down by the exclusion of strata companies from the Companies Code in s 32(3)(c). The expenditure limits in s 47(1) apply to typical expenditure situations under s 36 rather than to expenditure arising from discrete agreements authorised by s 37(1)(g).
