A sentence of 4 years 4 months for on-going supply of methylamphetamine in relatively small amounts (up to 13.8 grams per transaction) at low purity (1.5-2.5%) was manifestly excessive where the offender had a strong subjective case including long-standing psychiatric disorder and morbid grief reaction. A sentence of 3 years 6 months with a non-parole period of 2 years 3 months was substituted.
