Where a co-accused has received a reduced sentence on appeal with specified percentage discounts for early plea, cooperation, and future cooperation, the same kinds of discount should be applied to achieve parity with a co-offender in equivalent circumstances. Under s 21E of the Crimes Act 1914 (Cth), a discount for future cooperation may be revoked if the cooperation is not provided.
