The phrase 'in any winding up' in s 564 of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) refers to the period during which a liquidator is in office performing statutory functions, not to the entire period from the deemed commencement of the winding up under ss 513B and 513C. Creditors who incur expenditure during a preceding Part 5.3A administration cannot claim the benefit of s 564 in respect of that expenditure.
