Under Schedule 1, clause 11(2) of the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 1981 (WA), 'overtime' means any payment for hours in excess of the standard or ordinary hours fixed by the relevant industrial award or agreement, even where the worker is obliged to work those additional hours. The 'ordinary hours which constitute a week's work' are the standard hours for which the standard hourly rate is paid, not the hours the worker ordinarily or usually works. Accordingly, compulsory hours worked at premium rates beyond the standard hours are excluded from the calculation of Amount Aa for weekly compensation payments after the fourth week.
