A sentencing judge's bare statement that pre-sentence custody has been taken into account is insufficient where the sentences are not backdated and the pre-sentence custody is not otherwise demonstrably reflected in the sentencing orders. The possibility that a reduction from a putative sentence may have accounted for pre-sentence custody does not satisfy the requirement of demonstrable accounting.
