Where co-offenders are sentenced by different judges and the starting points for sentence do not adequately reflect the sentencing judge's own findings as to the relative culpability of the offenders, a legitimate sense of grievance may be established warranting appellate intervention. A prior criminal record mentioned in the context of s 21A(2)(d) does not demonstrate error where it had no material impact on the sentence imposed.
