There is no rule that proper provision for an adult able-bodied child cannot extend to providing a house or money to buy one, even where the estate is not exceptionally large. A parent's testamentary bounty should not be expected to cover the consequences of an adult child's divorce or to quarantine the applicant against Family Law Act property division.
