Section 63 of the Trustee Act 1958 (Vic) may be used to confer on trustees the power to distribute trust property in specie to beneficiaries in satisfaction of their beneficial interests, even where the trust instrument does not confer such a power. The word 'administration' in s 63(1) is not confined to the continued holding of trust property but encompasses the distribution of estate property to persons beneficially entitled.
