A vendor's obligation under clause 28.2 to do 'everything reasonable' to have a plan registered does not require the vendor to take steps that are reasonably believed to be futile. Where parties have expressly agreed on the conditions for the vendor's right to rescind (including a reasonableness requirement), equity will not intervene merely because the vendor is motivated by a desire to obtain a higher price, as the contractual conditions themselves represent the agreed limitations on the vendor's rights.
