Where a lessee sub-lets demised premises with the lessor's consent, the lessee's 'use' of the premises by sub-letting does not, without more, make the lessee liable under a repair covenant proviso for structural damage caused by the sub-lessee's activities on the premises. Lessors seeking protection against sub-lessee damage should obtain direct covenants from sub-lessees as a condition of consent to sub-letting. The phrase 'person claiming through or under the lessee' in an indemnity clause may be construed as referring to persons making claims against the lessor, not persons whose activities cause damage to the lessor's property. Damages for breach of lease covenants are not 'moneys due pursuant to the lease' for the purpose of a contractual interest clause.
