Objective medical evidence such as a discogram, while capable of providing evidence of spinal injury and pain, cannot by itself indicate the true level of pain and suffering or restriction of movement, and does not overcome adverse credibility findings against the applicant. An appeal against a serious injury determination is particularly difficult to sustain where the trial judge's findings were based on credit assessments and involved matters of fact, degree and value judgment.
