A non-parole period exceeding three-quarters of the head sentence, while unusual, does not in itself entail error where the offender's rehabilitation prospects are negligible and the offences are serious. Three separate criminal acts against different victims in different places within a short time frame warrant cumulation rather than concurrency. A psychiatric condition that is not amenable to treatment and that contributes to the offender's dangerousness may support rather than mitigate the sentence.
