A juror's personal experience as a victim of a crime similar to that being tried does not, without more, give rise to a reasonable apprehension of bias. The discharge of one juror does not necessarily require the discharge of the remaining jury; each case turns on its own facts. A trial judge's inquiry of the remaining jurors through the foreman, rather than individual questioning, may be an appropriate exercise of discretion depending on the circumstances.
