Where an offender is convicted of multiple drug supply offences involving different types of drugs, partial accumulation of sentences is required because each offence involving a different drug constitutes separate criminality. A combined discount of 45% for plea and assistance is not inadequate where the assistance, though significant, is not truly exceptional. Offending on bail is a subjective aggravating factor, not a matter going to the objective seriousness of the offence for standard non-parole period purposes. An appeal against sentence may be dismissed despite identified sentencing errors where the overall sentence is so favourable to the offender that no reduction is warranted.
