The expression 'quantity of pure drug' in Schedule Eleven of the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981 (Vic) does not require absolute chemical purity; a substance meeting British Pharmacopeia standards of purity (99.0%–101.0% for pseudoephedrine hydrochloride) satisfies the statutory description.
