A single judge of the Court of Appeal may strike out grounds of appeal that have no reasonable prospect of success under r 43(2)(f) of the Supreme Court (Court of Appeal) Rules 2005 (WA). Litigants in person are afforded a degree of accommodation in formulating grounds of appeal, but the grounds must still be reasonably arguable. Mere citation of case names without articulating any arguable ground is insufficient.
