An application to reinstate a deregistered company under s 601AH(2)(b) of the Corporations Act will not be granted where there has been lengthy unexplained delay, the company's records have been destroyed, creditors do not support reinstatement, and the claims sought to be pursued are obviously deficient. A self-represented litigant's lack of legal representation does not excuse compliance with pleading rules or prevent indemnity costs orders where the litigation is without merit and oppressive.
