Street-level trafficking in ecstasy is sufficiently serious that a sentencing judge's refusal to suspend a sentence of two years and six months imprisonment is not erroneous, even where the offender is young, has no prior record, pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity, and has demonstrated rehabilitation. A finding about background offending based on inferences from text messages is permissible but of little significance where it merely describes the context of the charged conduct.
