A sentence of six years' imprisonment for burglary involving theft of approximately $195,000 in property, where the offender had an extensive criminal history, was on parole, involved his 13-year-old daughter in the offending, and was concurrently sentenced for dangerous driving at speeds up to 180 km/h, is within the permissible sentencing range. R v Anderson is distinguishable where the offender is significantly older, has less significant co-operation, and the effective sentence reflects concurrent serious non-property offending.
