A guilty plea entered while legally represented admits all elements of the offence, and an appeal against conviction will not be entertained unless the accused could not in law have been convicted on the admitted facts or there has been a miscarriage of justice. An applicant's complaint about which court sentenced them does not provide a reasonably arguable basis for challenging the sentence imposed.
