A non-parole period representing 80% of the head sentence for murder is within the ordinary range and does not of itself indicate error, even where the sentencing judge expressed an intention to allow for a longer than normal period on parole. A four-year parole period on a 20-year sentence is a substantial period of supervision. The discount for a plea of guilty to murder of approximately 13-15% does not of itself establish sentencing error.
