A minor error in a s 107 notice under the Migration Act — such as incorrectly identifying the recipient of a bogus document — does not deprive the decision-maker of jurisdiction under ss 108 and 109, provided the departure does not go to the substance of the non-compliance allegations and the visa holder was not misled as to the case against them. The inclusion of the Tribunal's own inferences or findings of fact in a s 359A letter, alongside the required information, does not constitute non-compliance with s 359A(1).
