A sentence of three years imprisonment with parole after 12 months is within the permissible range for robbery in company with personal violence committed by an 18-year-old with prior convictions for violent offences. A disparity between co-offenders' sentences is justified where one has a history of violent offences and the other has a history of drug offences, even where the offender with the more severe sentence is younger. Compliance with bail conditions while awaiting sentence does not warrant mitigation where the delay is not excessive and there is no evidence of significant rehabilitation.
