Evidence post-dating the offence charged can serve as corroboration of identification evidence for the purposes of s 125 of the Criminal Code 1899 (Qld) (perjury). Audio recordings of court appearances and audio-visual recordings of police interviews are capable of corroborating visual identification evidence where the jury is properly directed on their use.
