The Henry guideline range of 4-5 years (adjusted to 3-3 years 9 months for an early guilty plea) is a starting point that may be exceeded where aggravating features such as multiple offenders, planning, and actual violence render the offending more serious than the typical case. Different non-parole periods between co-offenders do not breach the parity principle where they result from different findings as to special circumstances and are supported by differentiating factors in both the offending and subjective circumstances.
