A sentencing judge is entitled to take into account prospective losses as a possibility even where the precise amount lost cannot be ascertained beyond reasonable doubt, provided the judge treats the unproven amount as no more than a possibility. An error by the prosecutor in advancing an inappropriate sentencing range does not affect the integrity of the sentence where the sentence imposed was below the suggested range and the sentencing remarks do not reveal how the range was treated.
