Orders made by an associate Judge in the 'working out' phase after entry of final judgment are interlocutory, not final, and require leave to appeal. There is no appeal to the Court of Appeal from an associate Judge's review of a Registrar's decision under UCPR 49.19. The exclusion of late-served expert evidence in accordance with case management principles under ss 56-60 of the Civil Procedure Act 2005 does not constitute a denial of a fair trial.
