A paranoid personality disorder characterised by fixed hostility towards family members does not, without evidence of insane delusions, negate testamentary capacity. The exclusion of estranged children from a will, where the testator recognised their existence and claims but chose to benefit grandchildren instead, is consistent with a sound disposing mind. The distinction between harsh unreasonable judgment and morbid aberration of mind remains the critical inquiry.
