An agreement made outside New South Wales between non-resident parties does not engage the jurisdictional gateways in Schedule 6 of the UCPR merely because it is connected to existing NSW proceedings. The connection to existing proceedings may be pursued within those proceedings but does not create jurisdiction in separate proceedings.
