The proper remedy for correcting an error by a trial judge in the course of proceedings is by way of appeal, not by a separate application for judicial review brought after the matter has been finalised and appellate rights exhausted. Counsel's oversight of an argument on appeal is no basis for seeking to set aside a final judgment confirmed on appeal.
