Where co-offenders in a drug supply enterprise occupy different positions in the hierarchy, the higher-placed offender's substantially greater role, more serious criminal history, and differing subjective circumstances (including different bases for special circumstances findings) will justify differential sentencing without giving rise to a justifiable sense of grievance.
