For possession of methylamphetamine with intent to sell or supply involving quantities of approximately 120-130g at 68-81% purity as part of a sole-proprietor commercial drug dealing operation, individual sentences of 30 months' imprisonment are manifestly inadequate; sentences in the range of 4 years 6 months (before totality adjustments) are appropriate. A sentencing judge cannot infer a 'softening' of appellate sentencing approach from a comparison of a small number of cases, particularly where the comparison is based on an erroneous analysis of those cases.
