Following the Court of Appeal's earlier decision allowing the appellant's appeal and entering judgment in its favour ([2018] QCA 38), the Court made consequential costs orders requiring the respondent to pay the appellant's costs both at trial and on appeal, applying the uncontested general rule that costs follow the event.
