A prosecution concession that a community correction order is 'within range' does not bind the sentencing judge, who retains sole responsibility for determining the appropriate sentence. Possession of two loaded semi-automatic handguns found in proximity to a traffickable quantity of drugs is sufficiently serious to warrant imprisonment notwithstanding the offender's previous good character, early plea, and rehabilitation efforts. An aggregate sentence of six months' imprisonment for such offending is within the available range and not manifestly excessive.
