Where an option deed annexes a draft contract naming a party's solicitor/conveyancer, that person remains the solicitor/conveyancer for the purposes of the option deed's notice provisions unless notice of change is given in accordance with the contractual mechanism, even if the party has in fact ceased to retain that solicitor/conveyancer.
