Where the Court of Appeal reverses a trial dismissal and gives judgment for the plaintiff, post-judgment interest under s 59 of the Civil Proceedings Act 2011 (Qld) accrues only from the date of the appellate judgment. However, the Court can incorporate interest for the period between the trial judgment and the appellate judgment into the judgment sum to give effect to a party agreement.
