A submission that a bail judge gave insufficient weight to relevant factors such as youth, lack of criminal history, or delay until trial is not a valid ground of appeal against a discretionary bail refusal. The appellant must demonstrate that the refusal was so unreasonable that error must be inferred, which is a very hard case to make. Violent and obsessive conduct towards a domestic violence victim, even when the murder case is not strong, can on its own justify refusal of bail.
