A degenerative medical condition, while a relevant mitigating factor in sentencing, does not preclude immediate imprisonment where the offending involves serious dishonesty, breach of trust, and devastating effects on victims. The sentencing judge's discretion to decline suspension will be upheld where the serious elements of the offending outweigh personal mitigating circumstances. Additional medical evidence on appeal that was available but not adduced at sentencing will not justify interference with the sentence.
