Where co-offenders in a drug cultivation enterprise have materially different levels of involvement — one being the ongoing cultivator of 157 plants over months and others being limited to a single day's harvesting of 23 plants — the resulting sentencing disparity (3 years 10 months imprisonment versus good behaviour bonds or 12 months imprisonment) does not give rise to a justifiable sense of grievance. A complaint as to parity accepts that the sentence was otherwise appropriate.
