The mere co-location of firearms and a drug laboratory in the same premises does not establish a connection between the firearms and the drug enterprise sufficient to enhance the objective seriousness of firearms offences; there must be evidence of an actual connection. A partially disassembled prohibited firearm that is incapable of use as a repeating rifle and dangerous to fire falls below mid-range objective seriousness. Evidence of reactive depression caused by legal predicament does not have an automatic consequence in sentencing absent evidence that imprisonment would be more onerous.
