The parity principle does not require mathematical equivalence in sentencing co-offenders; it requires that the differential rationally reflect the differences in roles and subjective circumstances. A sentencing judge is not required to expressly address every agreed fact in the terms used in the Agreed Statement of Facts, provided the substance of the matter has been considered. Exposure to the risk of investigative attention is relevant to the relative roles of co-offenders but is not generally an aggravating or mitigating factor going to objective seriousness or moral culpability.
