A proceeding will be dismissed as an abuse of process where a self-represented litigant has been given multiple opportunities to replead but each version of the statement of claim remains virtually identical and fails to articulate proper causes of action identifying which defendants did what and why those actions amounted to a legal wrong. Disabilities and self-represented status do not entitle a party to indefinite adjournments where the fundamental deficiencies in the pleading are incapable of being rectified by further time.
