A trial judge's direction on unreliable evidence under s 32 of the Jury Directions Act 2015 (Vic) need not separately address each specific factor (such as memory loss) where the charge as a whole, combined with counsel's closing addresses, sufficiently conveys the relevant matters to the jury. A trial judge is not required to particularise each prior inconsistent statement in the charge where the trial is short, the transcript is available to the jury, and counsel's closing addresses have identified the statements in detail.
