A sentencing differential of three months on a kidnapping charge between co-offenders is reasonably open where the offender with the lesser role has a significantly more extensive criminal record evidencing propensity to violence, and the co-offender has the mitigating factor of a substantial period of immigration detention. The similarity of general language used by a sentencing judge to describe prospects of rehabilitation and the need for specific deterrence does not mean those factors were given identical weight where the underlying reasons for those conclusions differed.
