Section 64 of the Restraining Orders Act 1997 (WA) exhaustively regulates the scope of appeals from decisions under that Act, excluding the general appeal right under s 40(1) of the Magistrates Court (Civil Proceedings) Act 2004 (WA). A decision to cancel an interim FVRO is not appealable under s 64, as it is neither a decision in relation to a final order nor a refusal to make a final order. The alternative remedy for such decisions is judicial review under s 36 of the Magistrates Court Act 2004 (WA).
