A Calderbank offer made before the commencement of proceedings may ground an order for indemnity costs. A minor difference between the offer terms and the trial outcome (here, retention of 3 out of 17 CCTV cameras) does not prevent the offeror from being treated as having achieved a result as good as or better than the offer where the offeror succeeded on the substance of the dispute.
